Nice brown supple steerhide. The collar lapels lead me to think it's from the 1970s. Elasticized sides and a single chest pocket with a small pencil pocket.

Lined in wool, no interior pockets:

I haven't seen this type of Talon zipper pull before. LF is marked on both sides, and the pull is on the left-hand side.

I'm not sure how I feel about the open, shirt-style chest pocket, but I love the pencil slot. That practical design and label makes me wonder if it wasn't purchased and given out by some company as a uniform jacket. Nice find.

I might email some pics to the company to see if they can tell me anything else about the jacket. I know it's no older than 1972, because that's when the company moved to the address listed on the inner tag.

I would guess the open pocket next to the pen slot is designed for a notepad or ticket pad. That open pocket is just the right size for an iPhone.

I'll never know for sure, but the jacket might have been a Windsor Police jacket. I found some patches online that seem to match the outline of the areas where the shoulder patches were removed. Plus, my area is really close to Windsor.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I found the same jacket, same size, on a Japanese website. Listed for a heck of a lot more than what I paid, and mine is in much better condition.
