That's beautiful man! That's exactly the kind of set-up I'd want! Lean and mean, short and sweet! That's really gorgeous...well done

Thanks ton. Took me about 4 years. The worst was making my own electrical harness. I had a few sleepless nights obsessing about it and driving myself crazy over it.

Getting my wife to help me install the engine was a pretty tense but hilarious moment also. The look on my face when I thought I was going to drop it! She lost her shit also. I was yelling, she was freaking out, my finger got caught under the motor while installing it into the frame and it almost hit the floor.

Not so good for hopping on and riding to the shops, though.

I say this as a man who, at the age of three, tried to convinced a much-missed lakeland terrier by the name of Sherpa to be a horse to my cowboy. It proved to be.... a learning experience all round.

Nice!! Been looking at how folks carry additional reserve canisters with them as well...
I take a little 1 litre bottle (proper fuel bottle) for longer trips. However never needed it as you rarely far enough away from a fuel station in the UK.

I have owned several Hondas. I bought that one on a bit of a lark. It turned out to be one of the more expensive little bikes that I have owned in the long run

49cc's, tops out at 30mph.....gets attention and positive comments everywhere I go......Custom Cubs are super fun. View attachment 144458

I heard there's a big cult around those in Japan. Of course, I've also seen a little Japanese 49cc Honda racing bike that was so tuned it could do a ton.... That's what I adore about the Japanese designs - the efficiency!

My favourite custom bike racing scene I've read about is one where the only rules are that 1] you can ride anything as long as it's 49cc or less, and 2] you must be dressed as a superhero to take part..... :D
