These boots have been revived more than once and thought they were a goner each time. But when I look down, these boots (and my El Dorado boots) look the best to me and fit like a glove. Knowing they will eventually give-out on me one day, I have actually found two additional identical pairs in new condition (not as comfortable as these yet). I even found a similar pair in black.

I’m looking at a pair of Sante Fe Boot Co. sharks on eBay but don’t know anything about the company. Does anyone have any experience with them.

The wearing of them changes my gate and causes knee pain that I do not get when wearing footwear with lower heels. I keep trying thinking it is something I just need get used to but it ain't getting better. So it looks like I get to wear them only when standing around looking good!!!

@Winston Carter, I have one pair with them but the brand is Varese. Some call them sole savers. They work and don't change the profile of the boot nor the foot strike as you walk.

Or use some padded insole. I now can walk longer distances with my boots. Fitting also improved. My feet are not used to a hard surface as leather is.
I would wear them more if I wasn't afraid of scuffing them on a pallet at work.
