Borsalino, 7 1/2, Gray, Bound Edge, Wind Trolley. Beautiful. For Sale

I'm finally going to let go of this gorgeous size 7 1/2 Borsalino. 2 1/2" brim, as bashed 4 1/2" high in front, 3 7/8" in back. Black 1 1/2" grosgrain ribbon. Narrow gray grosgrain binding on the edge. Working wind trolley, cloth size tag. There is a little wear in the upper right on the underside of the brim (top pic). This is one of the nicest hats I have ever owned. Had it for years, but to be honest, it doesn't look good on my narrow face. Asking $340.

I can't believe I forgot to mention that this hat has that air circulation devise found in some old Borsalinos; it consists of a strip of corrugated cardboard or plastic in the front on the sweatband. Its very neat. You can see it in the front in the second picture.

Wow such a beautiful vintage fedora. It will sell. I am going to guess in a few months or less, after you do sell it, you will wish it was still in your closet waiting to be worn.

Well the problem here is that with my narrow face, the hat has always looked better in the closet than it did on me. But thanks.

I bet if you posted a picture of you wearing this one on your "narrow face" you wouldn't get one comment back saying that it didn't look amazing on you. This one is a rare beauty that does not come along very often in your size.

I had a narrow face once...about 50 lbs and 20 years ago.

On sizing - Is this 7 1/2 possibly be a US 7 3/8ths? Borsaliinos tend to run small to US sizing.

I has not. I got distracted with work and never took it to ebay or pushed it here. Let me know if you are interested.
