Thanks Steve. You should try it, you might like it.

Thanks Daniele. I've been enjoying your continuing parade of excellent hats.

Thanks Woodtroll.

Let's see the rest of the bike and bike herd. Yes, I think the hat is probably from the 70s and the coats were certainly popular then. I think this coat might be a bit later than that, but don't really know.

The color is Whisky, in case you are looking for one Bob.

Thanks Terry. I think it has some sort of cattleman in it when I got it, but I thought this one looked better. Probably influenced by some of your stylings.

Thanks Red. This coat probably gets more positive comments than any of the other ones I wear.

Keep looking Joao, one will turn up in your size.

Thanks all,
Michael
You're welcome buddy. I think you did a great job on that crease.

Did you smile when you watched it, Terry? I didn't know it was possible to give a hat a longhair finish. How is it done?

Ancient Chinese secret, buddy! ;)
It's possible, for sure. :)

You're definitely knocking out some nice looking hats, btw. I'm especially partial to the Alessandra thin ribbons you have.

Adam pork pie. A pauper hat compared to all these princely submissions, but right now it works the best with my new Aero leather jacket. That's right, I've joined @AbbaDatDeHat on the dark side of TFL.

I knew that jacket thing was a contagious slippery slope! I knew it! It might be too late for Bowen, but you still have time! Quick! Sprinkle holy water on the jackets and repeat: "The power of felt compels you!"

Wormser Royal Luxury today, with a power cameo from Tumwater because I forgot to include it yesterday.

Hmm, holy way, eh? I read somewhere on here that spritzing with a bit of cold water can help with the break in process. I bet that River Jordan water is cold. You might be onto something Max. Or perhaps you'd like to join us and share your other jacket secrets?

Good Monday morning, all. Foggy and frigid in Funkytown this morning. Looking for some good vibes and hoping the office is warm wearing a 50s Playboy.

Hope everybody has a good one. For those of you who might be caught in the "weather event" down south, hang on to your hats!

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Monday morning with sun and not so cold
34dofi8.jpg

Panizza color "Bolzano" size 60cm. sold in the deep Italian south
The finish is short-haired almost opaque felt, the brim has a seam over the edge
jsypz4.jpg

It was part of a bunch of hats I bought some years ago from a woman reselling the inventories of this shop
2qasns3.jpg

It was made in the historical factory in Ghiffa visited with Steve two years ago. The felt of historical Paizza production is most of the time of the highest quality
2h3spav.jpg

Felt is soft and color is anthracite with some burgundy reflection in the shadow
20gy2b5.jpg

So it had arrived, with this shape, I tried to change it, but without success, so here it is in its original form.
Thanks a lot for your words and likes
Buon lunedì a tutti!

Now that’s a good idea. It hasn’t been the same since he left.

I have had some contact with him on FB. He is a witty and knowledgeable hat aficionado. Several members have requested he be unbanned. I know the Lounge has to uphold its rules, otherwise it would quickly slip into anarchy. However, couldn't a one-time pardon be made for such a popular member?
