I like that bronze color. These should be great grab and go hats. Far, far better quality than an off the rack modern by the big makers. I'm really looking forward to your review of this one... I'll be heading down next week to see about a dove gray.
I have a Dove in the Winchester Beaver and it is a great colour. I have 3 Tonak felts and really like them a lot so excited to see what Mike does with them. And I appreciate the new colour choices!! I won't get the Bronze til early in the new year.

I received my northwest hat company 'ready to wear' bronze rabbit felt this weekend. The color is great! Photos don't do it justice. The term ready to wear has a "massed produced" inference that couldn't be further than the truth. The quality and attention to detail scream "custom made" The $195 price is a bargain. The best part of the deal is no waiting 2 months. The brim was cut to order and the crown was bashed as instructed and was shipped in 24 hours. Michael switched out the 1 inch ribbon for a 19 lignes charcoal ribbon for a nominal charge. The beautiful Tonak felts come in bronze, dove black and charcoal. I'm considering the charcoal.

I have again attached the photos Mike took before he shipped.

I just noticed on Mike's FB page the announcement of his "ready to wear" line of hats. Hell of a price at $195 for one of his hats. I believe the felts are Tonak rabbit. I have three Tonak hats from other sources and I love the quality of the felt.
A couple of years ago I ordered a custom from Mike, and it was everything he promised and fit right out of the box. I'm sure I'd love one of his ready-to-Wear models -- but his FB page says the sizes start at 7 1/8, and I'm a 7.

I saw one of these in the flesh today. Super color, very nice Tonak felt, their colors are rich and well dyed. I had my grubby paws all over someone's hat from around here. It was ready to ship out.

I'm sold on Mike's ready to wear hats, great feel and a lot higher quality than any modern day Stetson for the same money. His deal on these is ending soon, $195 is a super price for this quality. He can add extras (binding, ribbon changes, etc.) for a few dollars more. I have one of the dove gray versions on hold until after Christmas. Super excited about this color. Brims are 2 5/8" with a 5 1/2"(? ish) crown. He will cut them down to a stingy for the Eugene hipsters if needed.

His display in the shop is kind of cool, he has them all lined up in open crown with a sign: "Styled While You Watch" Hats Style choice by you! We do the finishing. I think this will get some high quality fedoras out in the world. I'd give him a call, this price is only for a short time and then they go up. Worth every penny.

That was likely mine. Mike is posting it tomorrow. Bronze with a charcoal ribbon and two rows of contrast stitching around the brim. Was not going to get another but that Bronze felt was just too tempting and God knows I have no will power.

Anxiously waiting for your photos of the creased hat. I’m on the fence. I do wish the crowns were a bit taller.... Is it a #52 block (it looks to have more taper, but it could be the angle)?
