The customer service is very important when I select the maker.

Vanson: decent customer service(if you want please a order talk to Constantin who is very nice person), usually takes 2-3 business days to ship the jacket, 2-3 weeks to issue the refund.

Lost Worlds : professional, no-nonsense, polite when you order the jacket and pay him money. Ordered Suburban with quilted lining and received faulty product, large area in left sleeve with blue color, call him, accepted return. Emailed him after few months try to place new order, no response, until I called him with another number, finally picked up and said I am not allowed to order any jacket because I returned custom jacket (never mentioned to me when I ordered Suburban ), keep deny the blue color on leather.

The worst experience I ever have so far. Even though I like their jacket very very much.

Aero: the first class customer service.

Argh. I've had to bite my tongue on this thread. I can't pick a top five. Can't even pick a top 10. I like a variety of brands, new and old. Some that I really like are well received here, while others would likely be considered garbage.
So, my top 5 are whatever 5 best fitting jackets that make me feel like a bad mother***shut yo mouth. Whatever brand that happens to be...in between the next time I burn it down and start over.

You would think if a custom jacket is faulty and you still wanted to order and try again, that would be honored.
Sad to hear.

Being a fairly long time member here and poster on other jacket forums, I can testify to the fact that this is nothing new with Stu. Several members who once posted here ordered LW jackets in their size but Stu advised to go up a size. When their jackets proved to be a size too large he wouldn't accept a return. A couple of them sold their new LWs on while one hung his unworn dissatisfaction in his closet and it is most likely still a sore spot pushed to the back. If you cause much commotion about his product or service you will be suddenly ignored, excommunicated, banned, and if all else fails possibly disemboweled.

From my own burgeoning collection

Schott of New York I have 5 variants , 441HH , 689H , Steerhide Peacoat and others

Eastman of England I have 2 Luftwaffe variants

Walden Miller of Australia I have one "Brando" style

And several other "singles" from various makers. They are all good BUT different

I never actually had any problem with Stuart except when I complained about a super stiff #10 zipper. I mean this zipper was absolutely ridiculous. I estimate it took 10-15 pounds of pulling power to zip up or down this thing. He was kind of dismissive. I have purchased about 6 or 7 jackets from him over the last three years. Great quality jackets for sure.
Having really good public relations is so important; so you would think.
