Beware : that's called Mid Life Crisis... I ignored it when the first signs appeared and now I am fully into this cliché :)

It is interesting. Having a kid gave me this incredible impulse to get my life in order. I started a very systematic weight lifting and nutritional regime. Elevated my scheduling and reading habits. Also begun reordering my wardrobe around more lasting principles.

I recall feeling very acutely that I was about to lose a tremendous amount of my free time and so had to become much more organized if I wanted to maintain certain aspects of my life. So it's not so much a mid-life crisis, I'd say. It's more like really embracing the process of recreating myself in the new phase of parenthood.

It's also much easier to clean baby puke from CXL than it is from a wool coat...
A Daytona just makes sens when you have a new born, it's good parenting, not a midlife crisis!

Looks like most jackets bought on Aero "Treasuries" Sale Event are now for sale again, but this time its recent buyers have become the sellers...

That Daytona is the bomb mate. Fits you perfect, I'm looking for the same after being dissatisfied with my Schott 613.

Recently sold an addict ad-01 and looking for something else - went to try a highwayman premier but found an Indian. This is a size 40...I like the 50s fit if I'm honest. Didn't buy but thought I'd see what you guys thought given the subject (I was browsing on here for opinions on the jacket), was a wildcard but nice. This is Vicenza black.

That is just one of the phases before a mid life crisis. You’re just not there yet. It’s not really tied to age as a #

You're at Clutch Cafe, I see. What's the price difference vs buying from aero?

Feels a bit like the whole Freudian, everything is the Oedipus complex even if it doesn't at all seem like it logic.

Looks great. I love the Indian Racer, it's like a really stylised Perfecto.

Varies depending on spec. I didn't notice a huge mark-up, though. Bonus ball: if you're taking a partner shopping and they have reservations about the price of an Aero, just point to everything else in the shop - "Well, honey, at least I'm not buying that Japanese cotton shirt for £350, or the RMCs velvet souvenir jacket over there, yes, the one labelled £1999.99....." ;)

I guess it is the low waisted pants making the jacket ride above the belt. I just don't get the desire to have this look yet some seem to think it is as it is 'supposed' to be...so wadda I know?
