hey all,

took about 3 weeks to make ! standard columbia. medium fit. medium weight cow. brass hardware. fit was pretty much spot on using their process. got a matching belt and wallet. the break in begins. i did my usually warm water treatment which helps a lot. i have done that with about 8 brand new jackets. Awesome jacket Psant!!! Was that a custom order or "off the rack"? Only 3 weeks from start to finish?

I am hoping to maybe get a Langlitz once again. How would you compare their medium cow? I think they list their medium cow as 3 oz, which is lighter than Vanson's comp. weight.

it was custom. they said it would be done by 8 weeks and they finished in 3. i think they were firing on all cylinders prior to the new year. and maybe because it was bare bones columbia no extras that helped idk. it is for sure motorcycle leather. i have had vansons in comp and z150. id say it is somewhere between.

My cascade was just finished up. Compared to the Columbia I did the following:

-1 inch narrower biceps
-1 inch narrower shoulder
-1/2 inch shorter sleeve
-1 inch longer front length

The front in these pics look good, but my belt is up a little higher than normal. The front normally leaves a little of the belt showing which I think is just fine for the columbia style and its purpose.

I will post pics when it shows up. I think if I went snug fit on the cascade it would have been too tight in the body for my liking.

Good call Psant!
I have both jackets as well and the Cascade definitely fits a little tighter since it does not have the action back nor the adjustable waist lacing of the Columbia
