Lost worlds suburban one year in

Looks great. I so enjoy the break in process. The jacket becomes an extension of the wearer. And when photographed the jacket just looks so much better.

I am really interesting to see their recent product, from what I know their building quality has been declined(Both hide and construction), maybe still a good quality jacket, but no way it can compare with their jacket from few years ago.

Will let you know how it compares when I get the J24, actually will take pics side by side.

I guess it's a good time to check how the suburban has evolved :)

This should be posted in the online dictionary next to the word: Dedication.

This jacket taught me quite a lot, so probably put it next to the word teacher :D

This was one of my first "serious" or should I say "educated" purchase although I am still learning and exploring.
I wanted a jacket to use everyday in almost all circumstances, so the versatile suburban seemed my best bet. The fact that it was completely rain-proof convinced me that I could use it without worrying so I treated it at the get go as my "beater". Although I could not call a jacket of this value a beater, I did not baby it in any way, just used it without any worries. It's a good feeling when you can do this :)

It took a LW to break the need to "care" and "baby" leather jackets, this one has been stuffed in all kind of storage compartments, gone through quite a bit of travelling and weathered a few storms, last one being a good two hours ride under a downpour... and it is still laughing.

It also taught me never to sell a jacket on a whim, because I almost did one year in when I thought I should get a smaller size... glad I never did!

How long are the collar points on that jacket? In the images on the Lost Worlds site, the collar looks pretty large but in the photos here, it looks not so Elvis-like.
