Offering a vintage Levis Type 3 steerhide jacket. It is an earlier and rarer “Shorthorn” label jacket made by Levis. Dark dark brown. Leather is super supple, and has a gorgeous patina, developing subtle lighter brown highlights. Lining is solid. Features an interior pocket. Size 42 but please go by measurements.

Approximate measurements are:

Shoulder to Shoulder seam: 18.5 inches

Pit to pit: 21-21.5 inches

Shoulder to end of sleeve cuff: 25 inches

Base of neck to bottom seam: 24 inches
All round beautiful condition and very versatile. Hard to find, especially in this condition. From a non-smoking no pet home. If this one doesn’t sell, I will be more than happy to keep it.

$450

Very nice. The "smooth" leather Levi Truckers are hard to find, most are the rough out leather.

Too small for me. This one is nice and hard to find!

Price is right too. I can understand keeping this one.

There's one just like it listed on eBay as well, thought for a moment it's yours but the eBay seller is in the UK. Otherwise, exact same jacket, only size larger. I was drooling over it just yesterday evening! It's so beautiful and so incredibly well made! The stitching and all is noticeably perfect!

Found a similar jacket, same western wear tag in small, any idea when this was made ?
Wish I knew more about it...really a beautiful hide and cut on this jacket. Totally regret selling it, but the closet just got too full. I'm thinking mid to late 70's possibly. Just a guess.

On Vinted, right?
Yes, I’m a bit anxious about the jacket, $100 sounds just too good to be true but it looks fine on the pictures. I even studied the stitches on the tag to see if anything was odd but as i can see on the jacket from this post, the stitches are identical.

I found a dark brown Guess brand jacket that looks very similar. It was a lucky thrift find. It has four pockets. The two additional ones are strait down from the top two, above the waist. It has zippers on the end of the sleeves instead of buttons. I think I paid $35 or $40.
