Aero Stuart. Vintage Black Hvy HH with Burgundy Hvy Alcapa lining, two inside G1 style pockets. Worn very little. Size 40 sleeve 26 1/4"...Body length 26 1/2...shoulders 18 1/2"...Pit to pit 24". $ 650

I am very close to pulling the trigger on this jacket. Rarely ever see this variant for sale and even more rare when it comes from a quality and trusted seller. Number of folks here can validate HD is a valued member, myself included.

Too small for me, alas, but yes indeed, a beautiful jacket. That lining will make it ideal for Autumn / Spring / Winter, depending on where TFLs are located. Possibly even Summer if it's repatriated to the Highlands. ;)

Oh believe me HD had I not just dropped a stack on two jackets we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Timing is rough for me right now but I’m thinking hard about how to bend the matrix and make this work. This is one of those grail types for me. And no longer offered so even more so.

Any current pics of the jacket? Trying to see how this Vintage black HH developed since you bought it back in '11 /12 or so.

Still looks the same. I've only worn it a few times since I purchased it from Aero in 2011. When I wore a black jacket I tended to wear my Vanson Enfield probably because it was already broken in. This Stuart HH is heavy and not nearly broken in.

Is that sleeve length along the curve or straight down from the shoulder seam to the cuff? Need to compare to a HWM that fits me really well in the sleeves when I get home.
