Lately I have to believe the universe is testing me. It’s like a sick joke. Jesus man you should cling to this jacket like grim death. You’ll likely never have another crack at this and it’s the absolute peak of Goodwear jackets. And it’s heavy hide. If I had a pot to piss in I would snatch this up and drive to your location to pick it up. I realize I have zero credibility as someone offering counsel not to sell... but man. Seriously think about it. Barring that please wait until I have the $ to buy it.

You really should keep it, at least a little while. It's such a nice jacket you'll be able to turn it around easy any time you wish. Unless you really need the cash like right now, I'd sit on this a while. I'm not rolling in dough myself but $850 is just $850 whereas that jacket is like a rare never-to-be-found-again diamond!

If it were just a little shorter in length and maybe a tiny bit smaller around the chest, I'd be sending you cash. This is gorgeous. Good luck with the sale (and I wish you were maybe 2" shorter)!
Thanks! Well, as we all know, Horween’s veg tanned leather tend to shorten with wear (this is why I wasn’t concerned with the 26” sleeve when John told me). Plus, the cuff rides up a bit as you move (just because of the pattern).

Yeah - the sleeve length is actually just about perfect for me - it's the length in the body that concerns me. I need about a 25" body length, and my chest is a bit smaller as well. I intend to expand my chest and shoulders a bit with exercise... but growing taller is unlikely.
Ton, it seems to have all the features you usually prefer - quite thick and quite heavy waxy leather, slightly longer body than usual, longer sleeves, enough armpits and shoulders (not excessively wide but enough for athletic frame). It might fit you like a perfect gorgeous glove. It's gorgeous and at the same time this jacket is a real badass thing because of the pattern and moreover - because of the leather. Look at that natural Horween, man! There's no need to comment its advantages - they're obvious. And those cord lined cuffs, cord under collar - oh man!

I wish it would fit, but my max. pit to pit is 21.5"....I'm not in the queue since I gave it up to remind Mr. John Chapman that he needs to keep his promises....disappointing. Anyway, GLWS!!! Beautiful jacket - I wish I would own a Good Wear :-(
