I am still chasing a leather denim style jacket after selling you that LW. Hopefully the black, buffalo Levis will fill that void.

If it fits.
Colin i really love your Black Beast LW Trucker. I could not be happier with it. It’s starting to calm down but plenty Boot Camp still to be done.
I know you miss it.

Not in (this) horsehide, no.
Remember the 20th anniversary Left Field Vanson commando in Horween HH? We all debated the merits of the price increase. Well I reached out to them about how they got Vanson to agree to use horse again. This was the response. If that jacket sells out maybe there’s a glimmer of hope for Vanson to go back to HH in limited runs at least.

I am of the opinion that it is a Horween CXL HH. Aero makes what is, also in my opinion, the best looking Type 3 on the market which you can also spec in CXL HH. I don't think you'd be making any kind of compromise by going that way.

I quite like that blue vicenza but wonder if it will fade to brown?

The buffalo Levis showed up. It fits great but is a bit flat from being folded in a storage bag since it was made. The sleeves are flat and look a lot larger in diameter than they really are and the collar is a bit strange but it should loosen up.

I am just not sure about the leather. It feels kind of papery and like something from one of those mall leather shops so I think it will go back. For the price I paid it is not bad.

The fit is nice and better than Levis denim jackets. Size M fits true to size and the arm hole is placed high so not a lot of fighting the jacket.

If I keep it I'll have to sell my tan suede Levis trucker since I would not need both.

Bright sun today, even with shades.

Sleeves are my issue with the Carhartt I just bought. It’s a small. Shoulders and waist drop are perfect. The bicep/triceps area is made for someone who in the worlds strongest man. Considering it was only 70 bucks compared to the norms we spend around here I’ll take that fit.

Looks good, I like the longer length. Arms are a bit long but easy to roll back the cuffs.

Well I ended up buying a RRL 30s style jacket from eBay. Not strictly a jean jacket style but close enough.

Still pretty set on one of the aero ones. I’ll wait till I am in London and hopefully try one on.

I think it is going back. After owning a Lost Worlds steer hide trucker, this Levis jacket feels like a toy.

I think I'll just spend the cash in the fall and do another Lost Worlds if they'll make the collar points smaller or an Aero Type III if LW won't adjust the collar size.

@Colin G , I recently tried on a cowhide leather trucker they've had in a store, one from their current line and honestly, it wasn't falling behind any other version or brand that I've seen. Leather is seriously thick, quite a heavy jacket, well made and the fit was great. The sleeves were much trimmer than on the buffalo jacket you got. It's worth checking out. It's around $400 but worth it. I was quite impressed.
