Vintage 4-Way hat stretchers are so rare and hard to find. New ones cost over 100 $ and don`t have this kind of "steam punk" appeal.

I know. I can't believe the seller accepted that offer after not even two days! Clearly didn't know what (s)he had. My plan was to sit on this for a couple days and then casually ask what the min/max dimensions were retracted/open. Didn't want it published to increase competition, as there were already several others watching. Since I'll never know I'm going to pretend it didn't fit my size. Still, this one hurts.
