Dressing up with my Biltmore Western conversion. This was another small Western that I sized up and converted. It started out as a size 6 3/4 and I blocked it up to a 7 1/4. I also reworked the felt and gave it a smooth 'brushed velour' finish. The crown is very tall and straight with a 2 3/4 snap brim.

This one was converted on a Walnut block that fellow Lounger, 'Rockwater', made for me...

Finally got above -20 so I broke out the VS.

When I got hone I started chipping out the ice from the road. Then I remembered Art is retiring so I swapped it out to my Tilley

Then I had second thoughts about my T3 being Tilley got sold last year and under new management. If I do wear this one out, how good are the new ones?!?
