David is working out of my shop right now but has his own set up in his home. He also works with Kathy Sturm so he takes a lot home to work on nights and weekends. It really is up in the air as to how this works out finally but he will be around in some form. All will become clear as time goes on BBoy ( I hope)

Art do you have or have access to the silverbelly hat bodies noted on your website?
I think an Art finish silverbelly would trump a NOS Stetson 100 in that the hat finish by Art would have more attention than a factory employee finished Stetson 100, akin to a stetson 100 built from someone noteworthy like a president or company executive
Edit: Replace silver belly with Sterling beaver above. I guess now silver belly refers to a color close to the beavers, belly fur perhaps in days gone by silver belly refer to the fur taken from the beaver's belly.

That's a beautiful hat. May I ask, what color is the ribbon? It appears a burgundy on my screen, but as we all know, sometimes screens are not accurate.My silvermist 100X from Art is a beauty.

100x= 100% Pure beaver Jon. If you are asking for a 100% then yes, I have them available. If you are asking for a Sterling beaver ( belly silver tone only) them I am currently out of those bodies but have them on order. I made my last one a couple of weeks ago

My post above comparing Arts' hat to Stetson one hundreds, I intend to reference Sterling beaver felt. The silver belly fur from premium beaver pelts.
I made my decision and sent a deposit for a Sterling Beaver hat. I have a 60s Stetson 100 and sold anther one hundred, a size too large for me, last year. I am confident the hat I receive from Art will trump.
