How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I couldn’t resist the sale that Vanson had running this weekend and I bought myself the Chopper that I have been drooling over for the last year or so. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from Kim Vanson herself telling me that they did not have the jacket in stock in the X150 leather in my size but they did have one in comp weight and would I like that instead? All of the jackets I have from Vanson have been comp weight, some of them older some of them newer, and I really like this leather.
I called this morning to speak with her to confirm that I would like the comp weight jacket, and also to make sure I have the sizing right since I fall somewhere between L and XL. She was an absolute pleasure to talk to and very helpful. Makes me all the more excited to receive this jacket!

The chopper in comp weight is excellent, no question. Have you ever handled or seen up close the x-150? Man, that’s nice too.

JMax,
I have not, and I was definitely looking forward to getting a jacket in this hide. I have read your positive reviews of it and it looks great in the photos that I have seen. When Kim informed me that it would be at least a six week wait though I decided that the comp weightt one available immediately would be just fine.

At the rate we buy and/or sell jackets, you will have one in the X soon enough. Enjoy the Chopper.

This is inbound from the bay. I've been after a comp weight Model E for years now and this one looks good. And it includes half a tub of leather dressing, which will promptly go in the bin. I want my jackets to show their age, as well as diesel spills, stab marks from bar fights, the tears of beautiful ladies...

$500, originally up for $575 buy it now. Not a great price but the jacket looks to be in perfect condition and seems to be the older good comp weight leather, plus it has a mouton collar, also I've been waiting for the last year or so for one to come up in 44.

And the belt. Looks like a winner.

Good get Dubpy:
I know you have been waiting for a 44 and this looks to be a good one. Look forward to a review and closeup pics.

Go on, enjoy binging on the weed for awhile, I get it. Make yourself feel a little sense of freedom, that you have some power of choice, I get it. But we both know, I’ll see you soon.

I’ll see you real soon.

Right now my cup runneth over. As I type this a 9 pound box is headed my way from Vanson. Just got an email this morning from Stuart at Lost Worlds saying that my new CHP is in the works and will be shipping soon. I enjoy the challenge of breaking in a new jacket but I might’ve bit off more than I can chew here.

I was considering sending my C2 in for a mouton collar. I think that picture pretty much seals the deal. I should’ve done it 2 months ago. Wearing season is here.

Can you take FMLA from work to care for the jackets? Break in will require a minimum of 40 hours a week and the Rocky theme on constant loop.

Man that would be nice. I would ask my boss, but since I run my own business I already know that the answer is NO!

You can send me that dressing if you don't want it.
