Greetings All:
I want to collectively thank all of you fine felt fellas for all the kind words and likes you all always share. I may not respond to each but each is much appreciated. Thank you.
Today....planned to post another Twenty-Five but it doesn’t fit.
Besides i ate over at the Ex’s place last night and i’ve been sick every since. Not sure this head will fit in any hat except porcelain.
Maybe latter but i gotta go back over there and may be too busy....diggin a deep hole out back.
Be weller. Bowen
Ps: she outta know she’s not my beneficiary!!!

If you're getting poisoned by the food I'd suggest stop digging that hole shy of six feet. Just saying...

Thanks, Michael. The Diana Wildleder is a chamois finish, probably like the Champ you were wearing earlier this week. The German makers did these extremely well.
Your OR looks nice and clean, except the ribbon. These are almost impossible to clean I know from experience.
It's a fine looking finish for sure.

Yes, those ribbons are trouble. It still has a dirt streak where it was bashed in the past too, but that is back on the fold, or somewhere, so it's not visible as I've got it bent now.

The other hat I gas bathed today.

Found this one yesterday. Probably out of the 70s or 80s. Was visited in the past by the bugs.

I figured it was worth the small money for the sweatband alone as it's in very nice shape.

Greetings all again:
Tonight....keeping in my OR style venue and since the other Twenty-Five didn’t fit, i thought i’d double-down with this one. Not often seen (imo) and a fine hat in spite of my abuses, it’s the Stetson Beaver 50 7X.
In need of some work yet still fairly presentable.
Be well. Bowen

I personally prefer different proportions/shape, but there’s just something about Optimo; you can tell at a glance that it’s a superior hat.

The felt, the vibrant colors, the sweatbands, liners, ribbons, bows, brim bindings, snapping brims... Every stitch, everything is always sparkling perfect, Brent, in every hat.

This Crofut & Knapp was my first vintage fedora. It is still my favorite hat bar none. Took the family (minus wife) to Bass Performance Hall to see Jurassic Park in Concert. While the movie is shown the Fort Worth Symphony plays the score. Fun times.

I would have never recognized you without a hat, Bill. You look really different.
