For sale is a policeman's leather jacket that I bought years ago at a DC mounted (horseback) policeman's estate sale.

This jacket is fairly heavy duty black leather, I think cowhide. Its been modified with a heavy YKK double zipper and side zippers. There are marks from patch removal on the left shoulder and the badge holder shows wear. One small fray in the nylon liner. Otherwise good duty used condition.

Measurements are:
Chest: 24in
Sleeve: 26in
Shoulders: 20in
Length: 29in

I'm 6ft even and am now 170. When I wore this I was 190 and it has always been a bit big through the chest and shoulders on me. Now that I've lost some weight its a huge leather bag on me

Thanks, that's about what I figured. I'm 6' 180lbs, so probably too big for me. But seems like a cool jacket, and also very functional, for the right person.

Thanks, yes its a cool one and functional too. If it were smaller I would keep it. I've been holding on to it for years now, but when I put it on its just too big for me. Someone here will enjoy it, I hope.
