Tremel Melusine Top Hat $200 plus shipping

For sale is this Tremel Top Hat made in Germany. Tremel went out of business in the 1960's. I was told by some talented posters on here that the hat is most likely made of silk, but could be melusine. The hat is in amazing condition. Feel free to ask any questions. I wear a 7 1/4 or 7 1/8, depending on brands, and it fits me perfectly. I measured the inside with a tailor tape and it is about 22 1/2 inches in circumference, or about 57 cm.

I just looked back at meyserwegener's very helpful post about my hat and you are correct. He said it is most likely silk, but could be melusine. I got it reversed. Sorry about that. I wear a 7 1/4 or 7 1/8, depending on brands, and it fits me perfectly. I measured the inside with a tailor tape and it is about 22 1/2 inches in circumference, or about 57 cm.

Could you please measure the front-to-back and side-to-side of the head opening precisely?
It is difficult to measure the inside perimeter accurately...

I measured the opening as best I can. I measured it at 6 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches long. I hope that helps.
