I doesn't have a liner just a Stetson stamp in the crown. It says made in USA on sweatband. It has a white tag that says Whippet Medalist JP inside also.

Sorry for the quality of pics

I also posted this hat in the "New Hat" thread. I put more info about the hat in that post. It is a Stetson Whippet Medalist JP. The guy at the store said the JP stood for Japan. He said the ones made for Japan have a taller crown. That is what attracted me to it. The brim measures 2 3/4. I paid $37 dollars for it at the Resistol outlet in Garland TX.

Felt. It feels very well made.

Flechet de Luxe - Century, size 60 or 7 1/2 US French made during the fifties

"Made expressly for A. Meer - Strasbourg"

The color is "Caniche" for a splendid felt in dark brown finished with a very soft short hair

The hat has very accurate finishes and a splendid fit

One of my favourite in the Flechet bunch
