How stingy is the brim? The color is stated as brown, but looks grey on my screen. Is it light or medium brown? Other color issue is with sweatband. Looks black in one pic and brown in another. (Don't you just love computers?)

I'd say it's on the darker side of medium brown. The sweatband is a darker brown as well. The brim width is 1 13/16 inches.
