Good wear 1938 Hercules fs

So this sucks for me.
Horween 3oz. Near black spray finish over dark tan.
Cotton plaid, nice weight
Mid brown cotton thread
No. 5 nickel welded copy of 1938 riveted zipoer.
No. 5 Wales chest zipper
Pockets have union an monarch size tag 44.
Corduroy collar back,cuffback, and folding inner collar.
Cell phone size pocket.
Chest 22
Shoulder 18
Sleeve 25.5
Back 25
John wore it to the photo shoot, I tried it on twice and it's just to tight, I ain't getting any smaller. I got it 2 days ago comes in original box. Ask if you want. 950 PayPal

Nice jacket, but its shoulders and chest look way too small for its size 44, the measurements of this beaut are closer to size 40L.
Just can't stop watching the photos above. It's spectacular jacket. Looks fantastic!
Wish it would be true to size 44!

John, your GW Arcadia looks to be at least two sizes bigger considering its measurements. That Arcadia is absolutely exciting jacket too, you should definitely be very thankful to @regius for that beaut!

Fit pic I'm 5"10 205 44 inch chest.
So the chest is actually not where its tight.
The shoulder area snug, the back of the jacket at the underarms is the big issue for me. I dont feel it when my arms are naturally hanging on my sides, when I raise an arm especially 2 at the same time it gets very tight. Very uncomfortable grabbing the steering wheel for example

I want to make it clear that this is a new jacket. John made it, he wore it to the photo shoot, offered it to me and I bought it. I tried it on 2 times of which I took pics at that time. John shipped on the 15th. I received it on may 17th 2019.

John, to not waste the money trying to sell the new jacket after just trying it on, without even wearing it outside - I'd try to return it back to GW because it looks at least 2 sizes smaller than size 44 which is marked on its sizetag.
I suppose, it would be the best decision in this case.
This jacket really deserves someone in size 40 or 40L to wear it thankfully. You shouldn't waste your money because of wrong sizetag on the jacket.
JC is the real gentlemen and the very nice man, so just try to communicate with him and I'm almost sure he would help you in this case to resolve the situation with this jacket well.
If you don't agree with my point - please just skip it.
P.S. The jacket is absolutely wonderful, someone in size 40 or 40L would be happy to wear this beaut.
