LW J-100 in lovely 3 oz Horsehide. Still my nicest jacket and best leather I've ever handled.

Corky Corcovado,the jacket looks amazing. The size fits perfectly! I really like this jacket
Got my Thurston Bros/Aero half-belt today. A bit lighter weight than I expected - which is good. I think Vincenza is even a touch lighter than the goat I had - or similar, about 2.5 oz. It's a bloody nice looking hide. 26.5 at back. 24.5 drop at front. 26.5 sleeves. Light tartan inside.

I got the impression you only wear black color, i see brown jacket and blue jeans, what happened?
It's true - I wear mainly black. My jackets vary, especially tweed. I can't get black tweed.
But I also just got a black Vanson Dakota Barn Jacket

Really nice patina and interesting grain. The "puckering" around the chest pocket is also a cool detail. I've heard some japanese makers copy this tighter stitching around certain areas to create this effect.

Thanks! And thanks for the interesting point about the japanese makers. The Japanese truly value these old vintage jackets. But, IMHO, no matter how hard they try the new ones never come out as good looking as the real deal- there's nothing like 50 years of hard wear...

That 3 oz Lost World's horse is the nicest leather.
So much depth. Much different from the 4 oz plus.

The earlier HD Sportsters are Horsehide...at least that's what I've been told by other collectors and experts. The jackets were never labeled as to which leather they used...

Like that idea. Shirt hanging under jacket drives me bonkers. I’m more of a tuck in guy but the option is nice. You should sell me the jacket so i can try the whole thing out.
