Sizing up CR

I'm going to order one of these from Aero shortly. I'd take a size 40 Highwayman; a previous Cafe Racer did not fit in a size 40, so was moved on. Have any loungers who would 'normally' take a 40 in another pattern sized up to a 42? Would it be necessary to go up more than one size?

Oh man, having a Highwayman as a reference... Not a good idea. But in any case, if it helps, I'm a size 40 in CR and 38 in HWM. I'm comparing jackets that were both made in 2017 or so so the info should be relevant.

In short, if I wore a size 40 HWM, I'd definitely size up for a CR.

I wear a size 40 Bootlegger, size 40 Grizzly, but a size 42 cafe racer is a little bit roomy on me.
On the other hand, i am pretty sure i would wear a 38 in a HWM.

Thanks- that's what I'm intending to do. I'm not overly worried about jackets being slightly too large, just too tight. I sized up for a Maxwell, and it definitely worked.

I'm a 46/48 usually but had to go up to a 50 in a Brooks CR to get a comfortable fit...

Thanks- I am fairly confident that a 42 CR will work. Good to know that others have found sizing up is the way to go...
