today, beyond my expectation, weight 8.8 lbs. The heaviest, most stiff jacket I have so far.

According to the email from Kadoya, the leather they use in the jacket is called "hard steer", between 3.5-4 oz, sourced from US, and produced in Korea tannery.
Depends on different model, the jackets are either made in China or Korea factory.

I have been searching the substitute from Vanson jacket that made from their old competition leather since I dislike their new leather, and I think I found one now.

The price of this jacket is around $800(Including international shipping). Thier cafe racer model is around $500.

Hope this helps for people who are looking for super heavyweight jacket in affordable price.

I haven't handle other model, but my dominator(it weights 7.8lbs by the way) definitely has more taped waist compare to this model.

Here are other models they are offering .

Unfortunately they don't offer any size bigger than 44 (4L).

That is one mighty impressive jacket! Simply incredible! It's like Langlitz v2.0. And for only $800... Man, I'd pick that up over Vanson any day.

Very much a wow-worthy jacket! Once we all calm down, I’d like to see how the thread hold up the stiff leather, & how the hide breaks in. Does it feel glossy? Another wow point here is the pattern, it is totally a Langlitz knock off, just incredible, speaking of fashion has no patent... the double row cuff stitching! Can the OP comment on the thread? Lining material?

I think they use same grade heavyweight Nylon Flight Satin Lining that Lost Worlds use, only slightly thinner, but equally durable and strong.
