I miss those days. Ever see Barbara Hershey & Carradine in Boxcar Bertha?
One of Dad's way of getting out of the house when I was a pup was the drive-in, and he'd include me. Westerns and war movies were pretty much all we saw. I've rewatched many as an adult. That one sounds familiar, but not certain.

Also the short spate of late 60s gangster movies. Pretty Boy Floyd, Bib Bad Mama, etc.

I wonder sometimes who titled these movies. "Tenting Tonight on the Old Campground". Starring Johnny Mack Brown 'the Dothan antelope' and Tex Ritter. Never was much of a fan of these old B westerns. Enjoy the history of some of the actors.

That's the title of an old Civil War song. Don't know how that might pertain to the movie as I've never seen it.
Yes indeed it is....And I have a copy of the original (think 1861 or 1862 I cannot remember) sheet music. I have a modest collection of 1850's and 1860's sheet music as well as some nicely illustrated penny song sheets (they have the lyrics only).......Love that stuff!

Thanks, HJ. Did not know that. The movie has O to do with the C W. Some fodder about a road being built for a stage coach line. I've never sat through an entire movie of his. I know a little of his history from when he was an Alabama football player. I posted this pic of him from the 1926 Rose Bowl in the non-Shorpy thread awhile back.
