FS: Polo Ralph Lauren Motorcycle Leather Jacket (Panther / Trialmaster), sz. XL

Polo Ralph Lauren motorcycle leather jacket. It's RRL's take on a Belstaff Trialmaster (or Panther (or Roadmaster)) style. Looks pretty much the same to me but I'm no expert.

It's a really cool jacket. Mid-weight cowhide, by my estimation but definitely very substantial and tough hide. It's a really heavy jacket. Super convenient. Tons of pockets. Comfortable. Functional.

Beautifully, perfectly made, too. Leather is slightly suaded, as in not completely smooth to the touch but it's definitely not suede or anything like it.
Warm, padded, wool / quilted lining. Heavy IDEAL two-way main zipper. Etc.

Size is XL and the measurements are...

• Chest / P2P width (underarm): 25" / 64 cm
• Shoulder width: 21.5" / 55 cm
• Bottom hem width: 25" / 63 cm
• Sleeve length: 26.5" / 67 cm
• Back length (without a collar): 31.5" / 80 cm

Overall, the jacket in a great condition. Leather shell barely shows any signs of use. There's just some tiny fraying at a couple of places in the lining at the bottom hem and a small, 1" part where the lining got undone from that inside leather tab.

All clearly visible and pointed out in the last photo.

Major issue is that the jacket is missing the belt. Sadly. So there.

As for the price... I've no idea what exactly to ask for it. I see people selling the exact same jacket for anything between $2200 and $500, which is what I have the jacket listed for.

But I'd just like to move it so if anyone's interested, shoot me an offer and let's talk.

No idea. I can't even see where they're supposed to go or if they were removed? It's usually got two at the back but this jacket has none.

Looking again at the pics - it has the waist drawstring ... I suspect this is used for adjustment and it never had a belt

Yep, my Barbour International is like that- drawstring/ no belt.

Interesting! I have a Barbour International and it has a belt (not that I ever use it). I haven't seen one before with a drawstring. I'll have to look for that one.

I honestly don't have a clue. Belt would look great around it, either way.

Oh, right, if anyone wants to trade something for this, I might be interested.
