Pretty amazing Tony! Not sure how I missed this thread over the weekend. Perhaps, if home repairs turn out ok, I may look to order something quite a bit like this one toward the end of the year. Never tried the navy Horween CXL leather - should look amazing in person as well!

As I understand it this batch is already running low. I imagine later batches will be similar, if not the same. Less tweaks to the recipe.

I know Denny was having one of the Horween boys out for a visit and they were going to discuss this particular batch as the standard moving forward. But something tells me with these colors, just like cordo...it’s a lightning strike. Some will likely be better and some worse, depending on what you’re after. Personally I love the tone of this blue. This is what I pictured in 2016 when I ordered my HB.

Agreed. My midnight blue cafe racer fell short; this batch does not.

My HB was too. I could see some green, and too much black. This batch hits blue dead center without being too tobias.

This is simply your best looking jacket. I love your bootleggers, but I think the crosszips accentuate areas on your torso that are already heavily muscled.

This highwayman draws the eye downward because of the contrast stitching at the hem and handwarmer pockets. Aesthetically it’s more balanced. Congrats!

Great fit Ton, congrats, i guess denim period was just a stepping stone for blue leather

. I hope you can finally settle with your jacket quest and perhaps start your saving to move elsewhere where the sun renders the color blue correctly

Absolutely a work of art! Love the top zip sleeves...and the collar is super sweet. This is one of the few jackets where it looks even better in the fit pictures. Hopefully you can put some miles on this one, kick it around the highway some, and get some age and character to it. Nicely done!

Another voice in a large crowd.. but, Thats a Great Lookin' jacket..Perfect Fit...
it looks like you're putting in some work on it too.. sleeves are creased up.. Collar shaped.. some grain popping on front panel...

Every single midnight blue jacket i had seen before this one had a green thing going on, almost emerald more than blue.
This one is glorious, i hope you keep it...

If that is truly the case, time for aging pics in an aging thread that you create which mention aging in the label. Did I mention we need to see aging pics from you?

Sounds fair. The only way I’m going back in would be a two tone natty/brown cxl j106 that I’ve had the spec sheet for waiting on my desktop for about two years. But that’s another story....
