This one went surprisingly low. Maybe due to summer heat?

I was the winner. I paid immediately after the auction closed yesterday. Seller canceled the sale today, with a lame (and very likely bogus) explanation that his "wife had decided to give my jacket to their son." I'm sure that the real reason is that they weren't satisfied with the winning bid amount, and decided to keep the jacket rather than honor the contract.

I contacted eBay to complain about the seller, and they are "looking into it" but the bottom line is I'm not going to get anything more beyond my money back.

Due to the exchange rate fluctuation, I am out $16.24 USD, because I paid out $407.13 yesterday, and am refunded only $396.83 today, although the amount in Euros in both cases was 356€. In USD I am short $16.24. Ebay referred me to PayPal, who tell me they have no control over exchange rates and cannot do anything, I'm just out the money as the do not hold the exchange rate from the original date of the transaction, and the amount in Euros that was refunded to me was "correct".

So, I'm quite pissed off about this, and Vincent Michel ebay ID licorne2011 owes me MY jacket.

This is a very unpleasant story. If the seller wanted his amount for this jacket, he had to set a price to send.
