Gather all of your used, tired and overworked words from 7X CB chatter and apply them here. I have. I have a couple of them and I would put this hat up against them. I can't speak to earlier models but this stands up against the mid 50's-mid 60's 7X hats that I have and have handled.

Early today I wore the Shantung Dobbs. I've owned it for a while, but it never quite felt "Me", even after I gave it the dark pug.

There's enough cloud cover for a light felt right now. After planting a $16 clearance pear tree from Lowe's (it actually has pears on it) I donned the Champ. featherweight. It's a bit of a heartbreaker, because its that little bit too snug which makes you curse your ancestry.
But my magic mirror tells me that it is "Me", and mostly stops spouting off about all of you "Sleeping Beauty" loungers.

I'm one of those guys that never gets very excited about produce. I like it, once in a while, but pears have to be soft, bruised and dripping juice into my beard before I really like them.
I know you get excited about those things. I almost envy you for the pleasure they give you.
I'd be almost as happy chewing on some good beef jerkey, though.

Yea I love this time of year here in Nebraska. Everything is getting ripe in the garden. But I do love a good piece of beef jerky too. LOL

Early morning dog soiree in a vintage Adam fedora. The hat adds color to the gray, rain sprinkled neighborhood. The "Executive Quality" hat's rust hued felt has a nap and a binding that has been attached so as wider on the top than the bottom. The workmanship is clean and neat. The binding is a sage green hue. The crown is high and the edge is big. These are not "normal" features.
