Thank you, I hate it when people say something is older than it really is, I have not seen one with the round size tag so I figured there was a chance it was a 1940s, thank you for the info,
I could be wrong as well. I'm no expert. There seems to be some cross breeding in some of these hats during transitional years. This happens quite a bit with Stetson's. A sweat and stamp "known" to be from one era and the liner and other indicators from a later or earlier time. Either way you have quite a rare hat and if you enjoy westerns, a great one to have.
