Aero A-2 Bronco W535AC29191. Russet Vicenza.

Hello guys
Just wanted to show you some pics of my three months old now Aero A2 Bronco in Russet Vicenza Horsehide. I´ve not seen many pics of this model on the forum so wanted to share some.

I ordered it in russset color with mint green stitching, mustard cotton lining and mustard wool knits.

I´m 179 cms ( 5 10”) and 76 kgs ( 168 lbs) and ordered a size 42. It has 25,5 back lenght and 26” sleeves. Its seems the Bronco has one of the longest pattern concerning back lenght since originally it had to be 26.5” but preferred to shorten it a bit.

I would say its a slim fit pattern, a bit snug fit bor being a 42, not roomy but not
unconfortable at all. I have an Aero Sheene in 40 size that sizes similar, may be with a bit more room at shoulders and back

I´m happy with it , leather is beautifuly grained and russset tone is very nice.

That A-2 is absolutely happenin. You sir, are dialed in. I think at the current moment, an Aero A-2 represents a heckuva value for its price. Well done.

Looks very good on you (color, style and fit) even if A-2 jackets are not my cup of tea. The russet Vicenza ist also quite nice even if I still prefer Aero's Jerky HH and battered HH but these are all personal tastes/preferences and there is a large community preferring Aero's Vicenza for a good reason. Enjoy wearing it!!

Fit and colour look fantastic. Having tried on an original Bronco, that's very close to the original look.

Beautiful jacket and a perfect fit Joan!
That russet has a much richer tone than I am used to and it is perfectly suited for an A-2.

Very nice! Great fit and profile... I think the Bronco is one of the most iconic A-2 profiles.
I'm sure it will ease-in after some wear and become even more comfortable.
I wish Aero would tweak their pocket flaps though... More curve into more of a point, but thats me nit-picking.. I know that originals themselves varied and I've seen some with more curvy/ pointed flaps and some like this, with a more even/ flat curve.
Anyway, thats going to wear-in beautifully. Looking forward to some more pics down the line! Thanks for sharing.

The fact is the Eastman was my first option ( and still it is) but my budget was a bit far of the 1100 £ they are currently asking. Aero was 700£ in Vicenza HH and can do custom lenghts
Yes, I know Eastman is making more accurate replicas but I wonder if it worths the 400 £ difference.
Its an honest question:
Leather and manufacture quality are much better than Aero?

This is the question we all end up asking ourselves. The difference any top tier maker has like Aero, Eastman, Lost Worlds, Real McCoys etc... has over a mall jacket is quite obvious and worth every penny. The difference between an Aero and an Eastman not so much. Using this specific example of an A-2, as you said Eastman does have more accuracy, and some better stitching and construction....but is it 400 dollars better? That's when it becomes literally up to you the buyer. Is the added accuracy and better stitch count/precision worth that extra? Once you enter the top tier market there is no wrong or right answer then its really in the eye of the beholder. So yes the difference between mall jackets, run of the mill, off the rack products, the companies we pursue here are all miles above and its easy to justify the cost differential. But at a certain point its no longer relevant, its up to your personal ideas of "worth" or often times your bank accounts!

I have both Eastman and Aero jackets, I think the construction is pretty similar, maybe a bit more precise on the Eastman’s but then again Aero’s customisation option is obviously a big plus.
Vincenza leather is a little heavier than Eastman’s horsehide.

I prefer Eastman jackets personally (the leather they use is amazing and suits my climate better) but can’t really justify the price difference.
Aero is just as good and that jacket you’ve got looks every bit as nice as an Eastman.
If you’re not pedantic about the minor historical details, you’ve done very well.
