Questions about Aero Board Racer

Hello, I am considering an Aero Board Racer and had some questions for those of you whom have one or are knowledgeable about them:

1. Zippers: Are Talon Sunburst zippers available? Are YKK available? What is the difference, pros and cons?
2. What would be the purpose for obtaining cotton sateen sleeves instead of tartan throughout? (besides the difference in aesthetic) Would it allow ease of sliding the arm in the sleeve, or lighter weight? or decreased temp?

Any insight is much appreciated!

When it comes to new zips, Areo use Talons, not YKK. They also have a selection of deadstock ones, but I don't know what sort.
Cotton in the arms is basically down to ease of access - tartan can be a bit 'grabby' on your clothes. I have a wine red rayon lining all the way through my BR it's pretty smooth on and off too.

Talon zips, Main ones will only be #5 size moving forward for period correct-ness.

Cotton (drill preferred) in the sleeves helps with donning the jacket, and it's a less tear-prone material than wool tartans. I do no have experience with their sateen yet, but I would suspect it's smoother and easier still to slide over the arms of a shirt, even with cotton drill there is a tendency to grab and bunch the sleeves under it.

I have the cotton sateen in the arms (and the rest) of my Ridley. Its super comfy also when only wearing a T-Shirt and not grabby at all!
