And another point:

The "bad thing" for me is, that "Levi" Europe got new, f....n' yummylicious Canvas-sherpas in stronegrey and SAND! :)

The "good thing" for me is, that they are surely the same (for me) heavy weight as their (Heavy)Denim equivalents, so in the end unattractive for me. :D

Yes but why?

It's an interesting point, because the cut of type III jackets differs from brand to brand, from model to model.

Normally, I can set the straps on narrow position to have the waistband close to my back for weather protection. But sometimes, the cut is different and setting the straps on narrow position would be much too tight.

The last two inbound sherpas arrived. All of them are the same size yet they all fit wildly different. The QC isn’t great on these and I think barring the ability to try one on in store, the best bet is too order at least two and keep the best fitting.
My three indigo Levi’s Sherpa:

Time to put a fork in it. I’m done.

Put the pipe down. Back away from the Sherpa jackets slowly. SLOWLY. Let me see those hands!!! Get ‘em up. UP! Now turn around slowly and keep your hand interlocked behind your head. That’s it! That’s it!

I knew this guy was going to be a problem. Last summer, started a denim party round these parts and got folks all riled up. Then he skipped town and left everyone hanging...

Well look WHO’S back... snatching up all the Levi’s Sherpa jackets like he’s Paris Hilton...

Not this time bud, NOT THIS TIME.

I’m glad somebody was here to stop this madness! I only wish you’d gotten here a little earlier before I ordered my very own double black “Johnny. Cash” Sherpa.

The strap design doesnt work on type 3, the strap is too close to the edge of the hem to stay in place.

For me, Heavy Denim is from 14 oz upwards.

On mine, you can see it with your own eyes. See the strongness? This can't be usual 12 oz Denim. And like I said, it's just size M and weighs 1.3 kilograms! I guess the jacket on 1 kilograms and the fleece 0.3 kilograms.

Lol! But it was Trenchfriend who was trying to start a denim party here for decades, all the while actually sticking with it while everyone was like sure, whatever.

He'd just stand there each day, wearing that gray, sun faded Lidl logo Gesteinsfarbe Type-3 and yall'd just pass by, ignoring him, talking about your mold infested Bucos and Californians, hole ridden CALs, literally crunchy, bone dry Schotts and Vansons... And look at you all now.

Just ask yourself, what jacket are YOU wearing today?

Nah, trying to start a "Denim party" wouldn't make any sense, today. The era of Denim is over for the masses. The 90s are over. Denim never fully regained from the big Jeans-Crisis in the late 90s.

This is too true. What helps a bit and for a while is ironing the fold the way you want it, but I've only tried this on a regular jean jacket, not sherpa. Comes out nice, though. I think you need to wear the hell out of it this way, then it'll turn out fine but that means living with the thing pictures above which is... Ugh.

Well... To be fair, skinny jeans are all but out. Nowadays, they all seem to be wearing those mum or dad cut jeans which are super relaxed, baggy fitting.

90 is the last era, where people and clothes know their role in society, now everything believe in equality, denim jackets believe they can pass as formal clothes by having napkin stuffed on the chest pocket, dressy shoes want to have sneaker sole, sneakers want to be made from leather.... what a mess...
