How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I had to jump on it before anyone noticed. If the fit is off I'll throw it on the classifieds.

Purchased this vintage (mint) Excelled half-belt today - surprisingly still has the older style label glued to the lining which tend to fall off. I rarely see old Excelled jackets that are made of horsehide so I had to have it... plus, it's my size, which is always a bonus dealing with anything vintage.

I love the cut and upside down chest pocket! @tmitchell59 had one of these a while back.

Yep I remember seeing Terry's YouTube video of his jacket. I too like the unique angle of the chest pocket...not something you typically see.

Yes, I did own one. Label was missing. Long gone.

In your YouTube video, I thought your version was black and not brown - I like this brown version as well. You mentioned in your review the Excelled horsehide was not of as good quality as that Sierra, of the same time period. I'm hoping it's still decent! I think this black version has some nice thick grain going on.

Mine was black. Here is a better look. I really liked the fit of the jacket. The leather was not high quality as I'm sure the original price reflected.

Look forward to seeing more of this little number.

Sure looks like a Thunder Bay. I sent pictures of mine to Aero. There is probably a thread on here somewhere.

Another great wearing jacket. Mine is pretty delicate. Again, not the highest grade leather.

Mine is at least a 44. Generic Horsehide label.

Recent purchase from @regius - great guy to deal with all around.

Circa 50's-60's steerhide bootlegger style cross-zip - made by 'The Leather Garment Co Inc' out of San Francisco. I know nothing of this particular jacket maker, but the quality is fantastic.

Very nice jacket! This style does not show up. Looks to be clean. I have owned jackets/seen jackets with The Leather Garment Co. I have not seen this label. I will look for another label. The Bay area was very productive jacket producer. Most I see with this name are late 40s/50s.

This HD Sportster 'one pocket' came in the mail last week. I've been hunting down one of these for months, however it's been a struggle to find one in my size without paying in the $500-700 range. The seller gave me some odd measurements, but he accepted my $90 offer which was a gamble I was willing to take. Once in hand, I found the cheese cloth label to read "48", hand written in pencil - it fits like a true 44/46. This thing is mint, inside and out. I know there was a transition period from when AMF took over, and the quality of HD leather jackets slowly declined. Thankfully, this particular jacket must have been made early on during AMF ownership, because the leather is absolutely either steer or horsehide and thick as hell - none of that lifeless cowhide they started using later on.

Interesting note - this jacket has a brass Talon main zip, a nickel plated Gripper Zipper chest zip, and nickel plated Scovill sleeve zips - all zips are oddly enough original. I believe the earliest HD Sportster jackets were typically decked out in all nickel Conmar zippers.

Wow man!! That’s a rare bird. Right before the bowling ball conglomerate nearly ruined the company and later slick Willy put tassels on EVERYTHING. That is spectacular.

This is a Flood of Cool jackets! I can hardly keep up.

That is a standout jacket. Here is a label that probable pre-dates your label. Their jackets are typical robust, stiff tough horsehide. There are other variations of this label.

I had not seen the label used on your jacket. Probably their last. Maybe late 50s even early 60s.

This label more later 50s
