Me? Good question. I know the metric answer. Ignacio and his machine measured me out just below 57 cm, and definitely wider in the middle (not long oval).
So I find myself loose or tight in a lot of hats, but eventually just right. Like shoes I guess.

Has eBay started charging some new fee? I bought something for $65 with a $10.40 shipping. So $75.40 total. But I have a separate charge of $6.03 on my credit card. This is in addition to the $75.40 charge.

They sent me an email about sales taxes awhile back, but I didn't pay attention. I'll have to look through my archive and actually read it.

It's sales tax. They started collecting on me on July 1, as it varies per state. It went into effect for a few more states recently, I'm assuming October 1. The sales tax always shows up as a separate charge on my monthly statement from my financial institution.

My third wide brim Game-Bird. Seller says the real color is green teal, but could only capture it in the first pic.
I had a hard time finding my first one, and the next two came easy. Hey, come to think of it, the same thing happened with my wives! [emoji1]

Didn't know where else to post this.
I had made a purchase with seller: "timothiescloset" recently, changed my mind, he issued a refund before it was shipped out. The refund bounced twice, the seller became suddenly unresponsive to my messages to ask if there was an issue, I gave him the benefit of the doubt but after this bad experience, I've had to take the next steps with ebay and my credit card to issue the refund which will hopefully go smoother since they have policies in place.
I don't know if anyone else has had issues with this seller I'm very disappointed.

Great looking Borsalino ! They are on my list to find, but I haven't seen any that nice yet in my size. I'm trying to find at least one hat from all of the main hat companies of the 30's, 40's, 50's...

Thought he was an established seller with a guys rep, and very expensive hats... Some would say obscenely overpriced.
Apparently they collect import taxes as well. Had to pay quite a premium on the last hat I won. Far less inclined to bid on hats knowing that.

I'm about done with Ebay myself. Too many fees and such. I find much better deals and a much more relaxed, fair and honest buying and selling process right here on the Lounge.
