In the 50's Roy Rogers decided to have a nationwide contest for boys and girls to have the winner guest star on his TV show. They decided on a yo yo contest as they were very popular then. Roy contracted Western Plastics out of Nebraska to make the Roundup King, what he considered the best yo yo made. The yo yo had Roy and Trigger on one side and the rules for the contest on the other. They started to ship them out to stores when a tornado destroyed the factory and with it the contest. The Smithsonian has a Roy Rogers Roundup King and you can find them occasionally on Ebay for 20-50 bucks. Getting the display box with ALL the yo yos in it is a little tougher...
