Stunning piece. I was never keen on suede before, but these really speak to me.... Beautifully made, too - of course.

@Lukasz69, as this is the first majestic on the forum please keep us up to date with additional photos as it breaks in. I'm sure we are all interested.
Will do. It’s buttery soft right out if the box (except that there was no box) and requires zero breaking in. Denny at Aero recommends caution in the event of rain. It’s more of a fair weather jacket.

Stunning. I love the look of suede when it gets a little distressed. Don’t baby this beauty. Looking forward to seeing it ages.

Just saw this. You did well. The first thought that came to mind when I saw it was stunning. Then I saw all the others who said the same thing. It is stunning.

By popular demand, two fit pics. In case you’re wondering about the creases on the chest, there is a custom order inside pocket and a wallet in the pocket.

Any updates?
How is it to live with, is it still stain free?
Evo pics would be nice.
I have had minor issues with the suede shedding/leaving some residue like loose nap. I have learned to live with it, though, and it has all but disappeared. The suede is wonderfully soft and resists stains. The softness is a double-edged weapon, though. If I let it hang on the Aero hanger for days, the shoulders bunch up a little; fortunately, they (almost) straighten out as the jacket is being worn.
Compared to my CXL Premier Highwayman, the Majestic is a gentle lady: truly beautiful, delicate, somewhat vulnerable, and a tad whimsical. The CXL is a crass redneck of a man (no offence to anyone, it’s just a pun on the (small and entirely washable) stains that it sometimes leaves on my shirt collar) - tough as nails, but - don’t tell anyone - soft deep down, where the pull-up shows through;-)

I don’t understand why people treat suede like a delicate flower. I have suede boots that I’ll wear in any weather. If they get dirty I was them in the sink. Yes, completely soaked, soaped, and rinsed. Let them dry with newspaper shoved in to retain shape and then get the nap back up with a suede brush. Good as new after.

So do you recommend washing $1000 suede jackets by hand, or is it OK to just pop them in the washing machine? Can they be tumble dried as well?
:)

In fairness, I think we do tend to overly baby our jackets etc. I'll wash a leather jacket in my washing machine, and I'd wear suede in the rain (if I had a suede jacket).

If these really were our workwear or the only jacket we owned, like those 50s dudes we check pictures of, then we'd expect our outerwear to be robust and take much more of a beating than we let them take nowadays.

(I wouldn't wash a suede jacket in my machine tho!)

I’m going by what I heard from Denny when I was picking up the jacket; after all, Aero staff should know best. It was raining lightly that day and Denny said „you’d best not put on your new jacket on a day like this”.
