I'm selling the legendary Freewheelers San Mateo.

Purchased this May, selling as I gained some weight and too small if I put thicker clothes inside.Jacket lightly used in excellent condition and will serve many decades to come.

Tag size 40, measurement below:
Shoulder: 47.5
Chest: 52.5
Length: 61
Sleeve: 64

this looks so good; it should have been sold long time ago! I'm usually a size 38 in Freewheelers. Would you say this fits smaller than their usual sizing? Your measurements seem to indicate so...

It does fits at least half a size smaller (I'd say - it fits a whole size smaller), you may also try to ask @Carlos840 about sizing of it.

The only reference I have from Freewellers is centinela, which is also in size 40, the shoulder is about 0.5cm smaller than the SAN Mateo. These two are known fitting smaller due to the tapered back. I had the chance to try the Mulholland in size 40 two months ago and I feel it is noticeably more roomy than my San mateo and Centinela

All the other jacket shown in photo are size 38 and fits me perfectly.
