From reading back through this thread I’m thinking late 50’s to mid 60’s ? From the tag I assume the color is Amiata and the ribbon is Nizza, though I’m not sure what that means. It is a medium dark gray and the ribbon us a green - gray. Nice looking I think.

It has the Export Quality sticker also, are there any differences in quality for Export versions ?

The colour Amiata, as far as I remember, is named after Mount Amiata in Tuscany. Hence the grey. Nizza is Italian for nice. And that ribbon looks very nice on that grey felt.

All Borsalinos back in the day were top quality, so I don't believe there's much if any difference in export quality.

Congrats on the buy. It may be your first, I'm sure it won't be your last [emoji6]

It seems the various qualities of Borsalinos have more to do with the weight of the felt. That is: "extra extra superiore" is a lighter weight than just "superiore". Steve is spot on with his early to mid-sixties assessment. It could be earlier if the other side of the label is cerrated as well. If it is straight, like the left side, it's early to mid-sixties.
