Great smelling shampoo

Ok, I have thin hair and not much. Use a one or two guard for clippers. Very thin on top. So for a couple of years, I have been using bar soap when I shower for shampoo. Found an old bottle of Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo and it was invirgorating. Not much of an effect on my hair. So, I was wondering, what is a great smelling shampoo that I can get a small bottle of just for the scent? We have Ulta, the usual salons, and a couple of men-only barbers that might carry Paul Mitchell and maybe things like American Crew.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo smells good , and Agree smelled good in the 80s I'm North of you in Dyer Co . I heard there's a cool Barbershop in Collierville , but can't remember the name . They do hot straight razor shaves .

Your post prompted this memory: in seventh grade, we were paired up to work on some project and I was paired up with a girl name Catherine. To this day, I still have a distinct memory of standing behind her desk and leaning over her shoulder to look at whatever we were working on and smelling a light strawberry scent from her hair. It threw my brain into vapor lock. I couldn't process or understand all the pinging and ponging my body's alert systems were doing, but I knew something good was going on. Lesson learned - never underestimate the value of a nice smelling shampoo.

Michael,they have one on Poplar near Massey (Roosters) and one near Forest Hill (Barons) Went to Roosters, nice enough. Barons is about twice the price

Years ago, they used real straight razors, not the shavettes with the disposable blades

Never underestimate the value of a nice smelling girl. That's what you had. Without further encouragement from her, you were wise to not pursue things further.

I've been using bar shampoo the last few years , and WSP and Stirling Soap Company both has some great Tea Tree Shampoo Bars , and more .

Woody's, , I want to smell that one. I think Target carries it. Smelled a huge bottle of American Crew at Ross. Also been reading up on Every Man Jack and Redken Beer shampoo and though pricey, Jack Black for thin hair

I think I've mentioned this before, but when I was in college, I went goo-goo for a girl named Susie, who was from California and completely unlike every big-haired Texas gal I knew. At any rate, she had a distinctive smell in her hair that I remember to this day. I hadn't seen her in 20 years, but one day a girl at work walked in and that smell hit me like a steamroller. It was nice to be reminded of Susie.

You will always be reminded of Susie. No matter how many years pass or how many girls you know in the interim, Susie was special and you will never forget her. Not just the smell of her hair, but the set of her chin, the way she looks at you with those blue eyes out of the corner of her eye, the way she walks and flips her hair as she moves. The striking beauty of her face as she looks at you over dinner.

Susie was special. She will always be special to you.

Got me some Every Man Jack 3 in 1 stuff at Target. Supposed to be pretty much all natural. No sodium laurly sulfates, and all that stuff. Scent is sandalwood. Used it with a bath puff and wow, that stuff lathers like crazy. Scent is nice, and does not linger like some stuff. Hair is truly softer than using bar soap. Does not seem to be drying on the skin when used as a shower gel.

33 ounces was $9.99. Was going to try some Woody's but got this instead since, well, cheaper, more versatile and no SLS

Tea Tree products are great indeed. Though you should not be limited to shampoo fragrances only, what about conditioners like this? I like Wen conditioners with almond oil and cucumber extract. As for the shampoos, Herbal Essences and Paul Mitchell are my favorite ones. Using these as well as a pair of clips makes possible to make hairstyles like this even with thin hair.

Recently, I traveled to Vienna, Austria. There, the hotel had a combination shower soap/shampoo in a squeeze bottle from Hydro Basics. I asked the concierge if there was a store from where I could buy some, and the answer was "Not to my knowledge." So I researched and found it online. Due to the cost of shipping (it's not available in the U.S.A.) I ordered three bottles. I absolutely love the scent, and since it's hair-and-body wash, it's all I need.
