Stephen Stetson lords hat. Black hats aren’t my favorite, but this is one of a few that really stand out.

I saw them at the Fargo Civic Center. I"ve pulled up the bill, too, but that is not what the first act was. It was definitely a 3 person band. I vaguely recall some story of a fill in act because the opener had missed the plane or something or other. On the other had I could be dreaming. Ha ha.

Michael

My brother saw Hermans Hermits in 67, but I don’t recall where. He’s 10 years older than me, so I was too young at the time. He also became a huge Who fan after that.

I do still have their debut album on vinyl from 65. I’ll have to break it out tonight since you mentioned them !!

Beautiful hat Max. I’ve got a question for you. Being that you have Had such a wide array of hats to handle. How does the felt on this 100 compare to say the Dobbs 20, 40, 50. Etc. what do you see as the biggest differences in the quality of these models.

Best,
Joe

Today’s hat Dobbs Royal Coachman with guild edge. It’s medium to medium dark grey leaning more to bluish tones in my estimation. The brim is right about 2in with a nice guild edge and the ribbon is 2in. It’s a 6 7/8 that’s fits nice and snug on my usual 6 7/8 to 7 head. This has been one of my favorite go to hats since I got it earlier this year. It’s very comfy and has a bit of its own character.

Well, the 100 is the best, with the 50 a close second (still awesome) and the quality is accurately represented by the price in the others I think. Admittedly, my judgement might be influenced because I knew beforehand the prices of each, but the 50 and the 100s (I have two) are both truly breathtaking, no matter how you see it. Luxurious, like a Rolls-Royce.
