Buzz Rickson N-1. The alpaca is surprisingly soft, I had an Eastman B-15 once that I had to move on as it was so itchy but I reckon I could wear this with a t shirt. This is my first Buzz Rickson, I’m very impressed.

Just call ones like these a "rescue." Makes you feel better about acquiring them. I often look for ways to give these away to freinds in need or to sell them cheaply later on.

My first Natal CR was around 10 lbs. Leather was soft but belt thick.

My size 38! HWM was 9.3 lbs boxed. It therefore is at least 8 lbs heavy, so a size 42 with all the extra leather could easily go up to 10 lbs in a 4-5oz hide.

I doubt it, I bought few jackets that seller claims weight is beyond 9 or 10 lbs but it shows 2-3 lbs less on both my digital scale and fish scale.

70’s Chicago cop coat. The earlier jackets are vastly superior. The black one made me feel like Paul Blart. This one is 2lbs heavier, navy blue and I feel like a bad mother...

Wearing the Cordovan Maxwell today. I'd quite like to just take this one overseas with me next time I go to a cold place for a year. Give it some proper wear- but I know I'll take the CR, too.

First time ever I see one of these... Well, fit! Exceptionally well at that and it's an exceptional jacket. Might as well shave the beard at this point and leave the 'stache, though.
