Ha ha, no cube farm for me. A real office with windows where I can keep an eye on my bike....LOL.

Also a huge campus with 12 separate buildings that I have to go around to in my EZ-GO to check up on. Not to mention 4 other locations in different States. The older I get the harder it is to keep up with all the BS.

6 years till retirement....

My wife is pretty liberal on such purchases (she once bought me a 50yo french brandy and has allowed me similar scotch purchases) but not quite THAT liberal!!

Yeah, that one is a little much !

She almost bought me a bottle of 25 yo Macallan for our 25th Anniversary when I was buying her the Anniversary ring, but I decided on something else. Wish I would have gotten it now, since it's twice the price it was then and I'll probably never get one now.....

I can remember back in the day when my Christmas bonus was just enough to buy myself a 1.75L bottle of J&B in a wire rocker bottle. Those were the days!

Lobotomy Bock from Indian Wells. You can see by the plastic cup, that I only frequent the finest locations! Stetson No.1 is getting a lot of use.

Over in ‘Hells Half Acre’ this evening in the Portis. Sundance Square, Fort Worth. First a Rahr Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Warmer at a roof top bar, then on to the location of the original White Elephant Saloon where the Earps and Doc Holiday hung out....

Long day/night found me home after 11:00pm. A dog walk in the cold was tough. Brrrr the -1f' temps got to me. Chilled, I came in and poured a cordial of Green Spot. Sitting by the fireplace with the cordial glass I fell asleep until my wife got home from Holiday shenanigans. Perfect is in the small stuff.

Picked up a seasonal sour beer from local brewer - Dangerous Man Brewing Co. Sipping it as I roast some red peppers for tomato/red pepper soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.

(For those paying attention - yes I am in shirt sleeves in our mid-teens f' weather today. After a week of frigid cold it feels warm. Not to mention I can stand by the warm grill.)

I completely agree with your assessment in that one. I’ve had several Oskar Blues beers and would say most are OK, but nothing extraordinary. I do love a good Scotch Ale though....
