I’ve got a brake job that needs doing. Since you know how to do it I’ll swing by Texas and park my truck in your driveway.
And you’re wrong. I am disappointed. Disappointed that this is the only Mallory I’ll likely ever be able to own. I’ve been looking for one like this for a while and spent more than I usual. Not sorry, though. Not a bit.

Thanks for the answer, Deadly, Old Fashioned and Fruno.
Figured it for a store name, but with the Mallory co. and style designation stamped right under the name it had me wondering.
I guess the store wanted the buyer to know they were about to shell out twenty bucks if they wanted THIS lid...especially since this designation was already stamped on the opposite side.

Thanks Hector. Yeah, the onion skin was very brittle and was beginning to tear, and I didn’t want to detract from the wonderful embroidery.

The 78 is a project, not much left to do. I will snap a few pics. It is stroked, with duel plug heads, S+S super B, and a vintage Arlen Ness swingarm. Loud, obnoxious, rat bike.
