Offering a Johnson Leathers M200 J variation in a brown Horween “Vermont” Espresso Horsehide. (Horween's "Vermont" hide is a "full grain" hide in a 1.5-2.5 oz weight, in a combo chrome/vegetable dye.) Beautiful leather patina- shows lots of grain. The variation on the M200j is an added an extra inch to the length of the body, and 2 inches to the sleeves. Luckily Alan at Johnson Leathers had some vintage brass Talon zips stored away, and he found some smaller brass buckles that were perfect for the side straps. So all brass hardware- Vintage Talon Zips. And Alan also used a wonderfully soft plaid cotton lining that was leftover from some jackets he made for the Japanese market. I also specified an inside horizontal pocket with snap, and that all pockets lined with corduroy instead of the usual leather. No gussets or action back, just a simple yoke. Shows size 40 label… but fits more like a size 42 (please refer to measurements.)

Approximate measurements:
armpit to armpit: 22"
Shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 26"
base of neck to bottom (measured on back): 25"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19"

From a non-smoking, non pet house. This jacket just hasn’t got a lot of wear time and has just been sitting in my closet. Better to let someone else enjoy it. Very versatile jacket- good looking hide and comfortable to wear.

$400 not including shipping. Please no international shipping. Shipping is $25 CONUS for USPS Flat Rate Box.

GORGEOUS
which is was a little bigger pit to pit.
The leather looks splendid.
The hide looks wonderfully aged- Did it come like that or the result of adventures?

I notice in another thread you posted in this has had a “hot water treatment” any other “modifications” to this jacket while in your possession?

Was there any any side affects to this treatment like lining shrinkage or any issues with the zippers due to shrinkage of any kind?

No modifications on the Johnson Vermont M-200 whatsoever. Fit was just fine. Hardly ever wore this one.

I used the hot water treatment on the Aero Type 3 I bought through Thurston Bros....the fit on the Aero Type 3 was just way too loose, so I had to use the treatment tightened it up.
