Yeah man the mouton lined CALS are super rare! Don’t see them all that often. I’m hoping it’s as warm as it looks. Much as I love my other CAL the silky lining requires quite a few layers to stay warm. This looks like I can just sport a button down under it. I’m not sure anything can dethrone my CPD though. It’s like wearing a turtle shell wrapped in leather.That is just ridiculousthat lining looks incredibly cozy

This is a grail piece alright. I didn't even know shearling lined Cal existed! Never seen one lined in anything other than that silky lining and I was wondering how come they don't use at least the quilted stuff, like Taylor's. I really wonder how's that one going to fit.

Not so much my great mind, but rather tons of super nice LW’s on the lounge, lately.
Can’t wait either... Got some very helpful sizing advice that should do the trick for me. If it looks half as good as some of the LW’s here, I will be more than happy.

So I had a custom A2 made by US Authentic. It was delivered yesterday. It's really nice. For the price it can't be beat imo. It had to be custom made because my short stature and thin build. It's basically a size 34 short. Really is a perfect fit. I opted for seal goatskin and had handwarmer pockets added behind the flap pockets so they're hidden. It's a nice addition that comes in handy. Very pleased with it.

You think you could add shoulder patches as a design feature?Well this ancient, thrashed thing arrived. If I can get the back fixed, it'll be wearable. But this thing is old. Even the replacement YKK zipper became vintage by now! Let alone the jacket...

In spite of recently crying about how I prefer denim to leather jackets, I've gone and bought another cross zip, currently inbound. No measurements from the seller, but the tag size should work - hope it fits.

Snapped a couple of crappy pics in bad lighting when I got this yesterday evening. Cut is a little weird and the sleeves are a tad long but overall I think it fits great

The sleeves are long, it’s just that these cuff openings are so tiny it kinda stacks up on my wrist.
