Wow! Hat, tie, coat and watch are killer. Sharp dressed man alert!

Living in a weather event has me out snowblowing again. A Gannon (charcoal and frayed ribbon treatment) has been assisting me in my chores.

Thank you my friend, and that hat of yours is amazing. I love seeing hats in the elements, something about that just speaks magic

Great looking hat and ensemble.

I gotta know, are you really standing in the middle of Mirkwood Forest, or is that a backdrop..... ?

No backdrop here! I pulled over and took it near Nevada City, CA. Neat place to visit

You've never travelled the lush, dense forests of Nevada?

Hahahahahah, if you squint hard enough, they exist

This hat came to me sans sweatband. Only ID is on the liner as Royal Beaver Custom Made "20". I worked today on reblocking and flanging it and sewing in a new used sweatband.

I shrank a size or so out of it, too, and now it's a nice snug fit.

Also wearing a new to me Pendleton jacket that was a lovely holiday gift from RBH

Ask a Mexican to pronounce it for you, Randall. It is pretty straightforward in both Italian and Spanish.

At this time, I’m afraid we’re lacking in the Mexicans or Italians department in this area of the deep, dark, damp swamp where I live in southern Georgia, so I’ll just have to go with the phonic version which sounds like:
Gore-us-goo? [emoji38]
Oh well, maybe I can’t say it , but I’d sure wear it proudly on my head if I could find one on the Bay!

Well done on the hat refurbishment. Congrats on the Pendleton Topster. The color on your Holiday gift is dynamite. In spring I bet that could easily be a sport'n light jacket. Michael you provide me inspiration to wear a Topster. I have a few and need to wear them more often.

Cheers sir and Happy Holidays. Eric -

Thanks Eric. I think the hat turned out pretty well. Still needs a bit of work and I may try a few different ribbons on it, but I'm happy to have it wearable for now. The Topster is a great jacket. Perfect for lounging in my cold rooms this winter and, as you say, a great spring jacket as well. I recall seeing your postings in your Pendletons in the past.

Thanks,
Michael
